The story about Mary Magdalene is totally different in the books one from another. I don’t know, because I’ve never met her, for as far as I know.
Who can tell? Who cares? I’m just the painter and that gives me room to focus on colours and give her a lovely face. And the ability to put that lovely face on lovable products. What about to have her on your mug or on your notebook?
I've seen quite a lot of icons, but I've never seen any other icon with such beautiful, almost heavenly bright colours with the purest gold. Those wings of the archangels! The spiritual seagreen of the robes of both the archangels is reinforced by the orange-red robe of Mary Magdalene. Everyone who visits my home for the first time, walks straight to this icon. Genuine respect, respect, respect.
